It probably be safely done with the Mac amplifier by connecting both speaker negatives to the 4 ohm tap and both positive wires to the 8 ohm taps, as the resultant impedance between those two taps will be very close to 2 ohms..
The Mac amp should be happy with that setup connection..
Though I`m not sure why you would wish do connect up two different type of speakers to this amplifier to be run at the same time, but that`s you and not me !!!
Maybe their combined SQ will be "Additive" or then maybe "Subtractive" ? Only your ears will be the judge for the results..
Good luck with your experiment, but do keep tabs on the amplifiers temperature whilst running it in this configuration, especially if you like to crank your music up..
