Ohio: Recapped 700m & 700c

There's a thoroughly restored 700m and 700c on US Audiomart for 3900 in Ohio. Not a bad price considering. I wouldn't trust shipping, unless the packer really knew what he was doing. No connection to seller.

If it was a real good price, it was already sold. I have a 700C which I ever might sell, two years ago I could get 1000 euros for it. Maybe worth is indeed somewhere between 2000 and 4000 for a pair. Myself, I am "mentally not ready yet" to sell mine and instead hoping a defective but nice main amp to appear on the local market in my country.

Exactly. The price is way too high. As for the restoration, details are thin on the ground and very dubious. All we know is someone threw several bags of components at the pair. For exactly what specific purpose?

In 100% original condition, un-restored (working or not- I don't care) they might be worth close to that money, but once the proverbial kitchen-sink of random modern parts was thrown at them, they are worth half the asking price, IMO.
