Ohm Walsh 3XO's on the 'bay

Wonder why he didn't have Ohm do the repair? Also, that binding post installation and sealing looks far from professional. I'll be curious to see what he gets for them.
 
Lookin at it more, I see some real differences from my (amazing) walsh 3's...

As from the ohm website...

"The XO stood for eXtra Output because this series was more sensitive than the earlier series. It used the same Walsh 3 cabinet and grill with the Walsh 3XO driver. None of the XOs had controls. There are Ohm and 3XO logos on the cabinet at one corner. There is a foam surround inside the driver that requires periodic replacement. "

I wonder why they did away with the controls as I have used mine to really tune my speakers to my liking with my amplifier?

I also notice that the can material is different and lacking the nice, stamped Ohm logo on top...
