Oil change in Telefunken st 850.

Good afternoon. I would like to ask about changing the oil in the engine of this turntable. A couple of days ago I bought a Telefunken st 850 for 15 euros. It turns on, maintains speed, the tonearm works, I washed the bearings in gasoline. I am interested in the issue of engine maintenance. Namely, can anyone briefly describe the process of changing the oil in this model? at least the process of how to disassemble the engine. My experience is primarily with belt and roller systems. I rarely had direct drive. Thanks a lot.

Most direct drives do not require the oiling of the old belt and idler drives. Why do you feel it needs lubrication?

I use sewing machine oil if I need lubrication on a table if there's no lube spec to go on. Pretty safe bet. Less is more. Ymmv.
 
I think so because the player is very old. circa 1981. Are you saying that after all this time there is no need for it? I don’t know, maybe the oil hasn’t dried there, but I’m not sure about this, because I don’t understand how to remove the motor rotor. A winding switching board is attached to the motor. Having removed it, I still did not understand how to remove the stopper blocking the rotor.
 
I did a little digging, beat i could find is that this was made for them in Japan, but no definitive mfg..

Matsushita motor is it?

I think you'll be on your own then. Unless it's malfunctioning i would leave it alone.

That is a matsushita motor, so it's a Japanese table underneath. Many of these are clones of other tables with different cosmetics. Just gotta figure out which one.
 
Is it possible to somehow superficially determine the need to change the lubricant? Are there any obvious symptoms?

I did not find a single advice that lubrication of a TS 850 is necessary at any time. I am located in Germany and this is a German product made in Japan. My 1979 Telefunken STS 1 Direct Drive never got a lubrication and will never get one.
 
I did! (because of a stupid head, woe to your legs)):). A small bracket is bolted to the side of the engine. Unscrewing frees the rotor. Thank you for your help!!!
