Ok I confess I have a thing for 3 piece backsides…

I never went looking specifically for them but some how 3 of my favorite guitars turned out to have 3 piece backs.
Not sure what the 3 piece back add’s to the sonic signature that I like so much.
All 3 of these guitars have completely different voices of their own.
No chance of mistaking one for the others.
The one common thing they all share is exceptional bass response.
Which is especially import to me when playing solo or as an acoustic duo,…
My right thumb fills in for the bass player.(As best as I can)
So anyone else love 3 piece backs on their guitars?

Me too when it comes to woman.. I always go for the 2 piece backsides.


Thanks for the compliment I think they are beautiful too…
But more important is they sound every bit as good as they look!
Way too often pretty/fancy guitars look way better than they sound..not the case with these 3 guitars

Like I said I never went looking for acoustics with the 3 piece backs..just acquired them slowly over 3 decades.
I guess since my #1 is the 1967 Brazilian D-35 in the middle I am probably more open to the design than a lot of players.
