Okay, need help on ID of these components please...

I picked up this GE All-In-One receiver today, and couldn't find anything on it in google, and there are no real identification areas, so I need the expertise of the great people on here.

The other is a Boston Acoustic speaker, but again, nothing on it, to let me know what model they are. I didn't buy them, because I couldn't ID, even going through Google images.

Thanks Rob, I'll check into those on images. I'm really having a tough time on this General Electric console system.

Yes, they do have 2 speaker wires coming out from the back, with RCA type connections. The speakers were not there with it. I'm still looking for the model, but that gives me a place to start Ortho, thank you. I was thinking late 60's early 70's when I looked at it.

I hooked up some Realistic Nova 15's to them, and it sounds great!

Rob I looked through the images, and I think your right, they are 930's.

It seems they had 2 configurations, from what it looks like. Some with the Tweeter in the center, and mid on top. Most others seems to have the Woofer bottom, Mids in center, and tweeters on top.

Weird that on the back, it clearly shows in the pictures, at the terminals, T930, But the ones at the thrift store had absolutely nothing at the terminals or anywhere to identify them.

Thanks again Rob!

That's not a receiver, it's a compact system. A receiver is a tuner, preamp and power amp on one chassis. No sources other than the tuner are included.

Yeah Super, I really wasn't sure what to call it, thanks for that. I was thinking maybe All-in-One system, but I know that's wrong too. Thanks for the info.

Years ago I had a GE console stereo that had the head unit that looked exactly like the one in the compact stereo. Real good powerful sounding unit. Even had the PortaFi deal. If that has the same innards it should power some quality speakers very well.

Thanks Tom, I plan on hooking up the Cerwin Vegas I just re-foamed to see how they sound. I'm just too busy at the moment.
