Old article revisited.

G'day all, I was looking at this article today http://www.audiophilia.com/features/cartridge_setup.htm

In fact I became aware of it quite a few years ago (but never really understood it), and re-reading it just a short time ago, I was gratified to read the comment about the importance of aligning to the cantilever and not just the body of the cartridge. Yep, I agree. Regards, Felix aka catman.

Good article, Felix. Also, does changing VTA significantly UN-align the stylus? Oh, also, how do you feel about my VMR dragging a piece of magic eraser a few centimetres? Sorry for thread-crap.

G'day mate, well altering the VTA will change the overhang (length) slightly by slightly lengthening or shortening the overall tonearm length.

On the ME, if it sounds normal I'd say it's ok. Regards, Felix aka catman.
