Hello Folks,
I have a 20 year old CD player that is full of old baby blue colored Rubycon capacitors. Some of them in the power supply are leaking so it's time to do a recap.
For some reason they used a single Rubycon YK in one position which I thought was kinda odd because the YK series is really nothing special.
I will most likely replace the YK and baby blue caps with Nichicon KW caps which should be good enough.
I just wanted double check the specs on these old Rubycon caps before I proceed.
I found the data sheet on the YK but I can't find anything on the old baby blue caps.
Does anybody know the series name of these old baby blue Rubycon caps or where to find a data sheet for them?
Thanks.
Note: this is a example pic I pulled from the web, these are not actually my caps but they are the same type I'm asking about.
