Recently aquired KLH Fives. Redoped the mids and woofers. Waited as long as could, two days, to cure. First listen today. One speaker has non original mids that will be replaced. A little wide apart yet. They do the East Coast Vintage Sound well. Ample bass through subdued highs. Which I like.
Room has a S-shape bar opposite system. Room is L shape 14' x 24'. Openings off room are large to adjacent two rooms and stairwell. Lot of area to fill with sound, or loose sound to. Cropped views, to not show workbench, bikes, stuff etc in room.
Also, ADS L880 series 1 & 2, NLA & Advent 1's, Linn LP12 Valhalla, Denon DP37F, Rogue Sphinx V1, NAD 546 cd, Sony tuner and amp,Sony CD carousels, Modi Multibit.
When weather warms to work in garage, the KLH Five cabinets will get some sanding and oil. If I'm brave, may try steaming some marks and a veneer corner repair. Have followed GD70's restoration projects with aw.
