HI i got a sansui G-871DB i paid $450.00 for this thing, it ROCKS . my wife loves this huge Sansui sound. I saw one of these things go on E-Bay for $315 last month not too bad, looks like i got ripped off $450.00 in a pawn shop in 1980 not so bad for 24 years of GOOD music listening

If you are saying that you bought the G-871DB for $450 in 1980, I think you did fine. That would have been about half of the list price for what was (at that time) a "new" receiver. Plus, you can't put a price on a high WAF.
