Coral tweeters. Quite common, used in the Sansui SP line. You should be able to find a replacement.

I love my pair of these speakers. I've been colle ting spare drivers where I can, and in my research I've figured out what the drivers were. Posting here for posterity in case anyone needs to track down spares.

12“ woofers are a paper accordion surround variant of the 16ohm Pioneer PW30F

6" mid is another Pioneer PM12a

Tweeters are a Coral-made variant with slightly larger magnet structure of the T-200 tweeter used in a couple Sansui speakers. I use the sansui version in mine since the originals seem to be very fragile.

Resurrecting a very old thread.!. I've been holding onto a pair of these speakers for a long while and finally got around to putting them in my system.. they are very good! Going to tweak with the crossovers a bit.. Anyone else have long term results with crossover cap replacement? Going to do it is phases.. may bypass the crossover selector switch first as I will never tri-amp these.. anyone do that? Then I'll start with the tweeter caps. I really do think these are worthy

I replaced the caps in my pair with good results. I also bypassed the tri-amp switch at some point, but it's been too long to recall if it made any difference.

Great! Do you remember what brand of caps you used? I just went with Dayton 1% for the 1.8uf and Jantzens for the 4.7uf.. see how that goes... Also.. I have some nice REL caps that are 8.5uf to go in the where there's 8.8uf.. should be close enough? I'm going to leave the tri-amp switch alone for now..
