Old Technics speakers????

Hi all,im new here and I was wondering if anyone can tell me about these great oldish Technics speakers I acquired? From what I can see(the front covers do not come off,have to go through the back) They look like a 10inch driver in a 3 way design...model number SBE2855A...Any idea of age,what price to expect to pay and any specs would be appreciated....I have them on my Technics system and it's a perfect match I reckon,they absolutely sound awesome.very clear and lots of punch( my Technics amp is a 120 wrms) with a spectrum analyzer graphic as well,they sure are in big cabinets and were quite heavy.I googled and was unable to find any information or pictures....Any info would be appreciated...............:music:

As far as your speakers, I have searched and came up dry, like you. Most likely, they were part of a rack system. Speakers like that are impossible to get info on. Maybe you can post a couple of pics of them for all to see.

Bottom line, as long as YOU like them, that's all that counts. It's your ears that listen to them.

BTW, ANY mention of worth about any equipment usually gets moved to the Dollars & Sense forum, so don't be surprised if your thread ends up there.

Yes, take some pics and we can look at them to help figure out a value. If the grills don't come off and they are part of a rack system, monetary value will be very low, but that doesn't mean they won't still give you some aural enjoyment!
