Older Audio Equipment

I have a Sony STR-v2 and was just wondering what does everyone use for an audio stand? I've looked at newer ones but I assume that my old receiver won't fit, along with a lot of other vintage receivers. What are you all using?

The dimensions are 18¼ inches Wide x 5⅝ High x 14¼ Deep, so should fit in any standard 19" equipment rack. I guess it depends what other equipment you'll have on the rack. If it's a turntable or other vibration-sensitive device, you'll want a heavier more substantial rack or one with vibration isolation. You may want to look at the vents on the equipment and where they are situated. At 18 1/4" it doesn't leave much room on the sides for ventilation in a 19" rack. My equipment is located in our family and living rooms, so are in a TV stand and entertainment center. Each is either open-backed or has ventilation holes.

get the right cabinet like mine and you can fit a Technics SA 600 or smaller inside or on top like my Technics SA 800

I found a used Salamander Archetype 5 on craigslist. Plenty sturdy and roomy enough for my larger equipment. Pricey new, but can be found reasonable if you're persistent.
