Older Dali speakers to consider.. others? used market bargains.

Greeting, I'm looking for some used (last 20 years or so) small towers 3' or under (slim is good) and/or some stand mounts.

I was think Dali might be a good search, anyone recommend something? Never heard Dali though..

I'm in the Seattle market, and stuff pops up.

Ive heard great things about the Dynaco A25 and there's a pair here for 225.00, Ive never heard them and don't know how good they are. I don't want slow speakers.

I like natural sound, good tone, dynamic with airy highs. Smooth and detailed.. big deep bass not important, tight is..
Trying to keep it under a grand..

I'm open to suggestions.

There are plenty of speakers that can match your taste. Your taste sounds similar to mine. I tend to like a lot of New England/Canadian based speakers.

NHT made some tower speakers with very good sound and impressive bass. Like many large(ish)speakers, the market for them is not large, and shipping is costly, so prices are not bad. Consumers, especially for used equipment, are a funny bunch - the few well known collectible items sell for ridiculous sums, and equally good or better alternatives that don't have a internet following can be had for peanuts.
