older speaker id?

these are for sale locally, with the sherwood. i haven't heard back on the speaker id from the seller, and wonder if anyone can identify them by the characteristic metal band around the outside, and the size in relation to the sherwood.

Hard to say, but panasonic made speakers with that metal band around black grills in the late 60's. Not great speakers.

Just a wild guess.
