Before you say they are worth a TON of money, ponder why they don't fetch $1500 and $1300 on EBay. If they are worth $2K, they would immediately disappear with BINs that are $500 and $700 under market. You may trust others' judgement, but take the time to verify before you lose your shirt based on a false premise.
OK, number one, HPM100s go for a ton of money on eBay, period. Number two, there was a thread about these the other day where someone said they go for over a grand, which is a ton of money. Number three, the $1300 ones on eBay are local pickup only, meaning they could be worth a TON more but the buyers may not be local. They're also in fairly poor condition. Number four, my guess is that these estate sale HPM100s are underpriced. Were I local, I would've been there with cash already.

I am local, and no one has contacted me, or any of the known/notorious St. Louis members, about a pickup favor. They are still there. All it takes to purchase many estate sale items is a phone call and a credit card, and then arrange for a pick up locally. That is how the majority of foreign buyers do this vacuuming of US gear at auctions, so don't let it hold you back.
