I've seen those little circle lattice grilles before...dadgumit! What are they?

L99's, AKA Lancers. Two way with a 14 inch white Aquaplas/Lansaloy woofer and an LE20 tweeter. Not a horrible sounding speaker and they can sell for quite a bit.
"Not horrible sounding" - is that kind of along the lines of 'it doesn't suck'?

Sure is a cool cabinet. If I came across a set of those I'd fix them up (caps, Danish oil, etc.) and maybe sell them for 'quite a bit.' :thmbsp:

They actually sound way better than they should. They make that 14 inch go way too high in box that's too small, and that paper tweeter shouldn't sound as good as does either. I restored a pair for a guy and he absolutely loves them. I just like REAL JBLs (see sig) a whole LOT more. To each his own. They can be real money makers, and like all vintage JBLs, they're nicely built.
