the actor and martial-arts expert Bruce Lee died in Los Angeles at age 32 from a brain edema possibly caused by a reaction to a prescription painkiller. During Lee’s all-too-brief career, he became a movie star in Asia and, posthumously, in America.

Bruce Lee was a martial-arts icon as well as a man of great intellect ... which is not as well known.

He said something I never forgot through all my life ... "Absorb what is useful ... disregard that which is not"

In other words ... If someone writes a book ... and you only find 10% useful & relevant ... just skip over the 90%. The 90% that is not useful (in your opinion) does not taint the 10% that is.

David Carradine did a fine job of portraying Kwai Chang Caine in the TV series Kung Fu ... but that part should have been given to Bruce Lee IMHO (who was considered for the part).

Wasn't that show Bruce Lee's idea/concept or was that just movie "history"?

Controversial ... probably ... the idea that a gaggle of formulaic 70's Hollywood writers came up with this concept is a stretch.

In her memoirs ... From Wikipedia ... <<<< click link
Bruce Lee's widow, Linda Lee Cadwell, asserts that Lee created the concept for the series, which was then stolen by Warner Bros.

Common sense .. the character reminds you of Bruce Lee.
