In snow fall. 132 and some odd inches. Its been at around 128 inches for about a month with no snow fall. Started snowing again yesterday, and more snow today.

It looks like the record from 1954-55 is going to be broken today.

Some areas of town are past 180 or 200. The measure measurements are only taken at one location. Even if other areas get more snow fall it still doesnt count. Just measurements taken at that particular location.:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::yes:

snow

And it,s snowing like crazy right now !! We will break the record. By the way, were in Anchorage:music::music:

We've had a pretty snow free winter here in Santa Fe.
Where normally we'd get around 20 inches of snow.
This winter, maybe 6 inches, if that much.

Steve

yeah, in anchorage AK. Almost all private snow dumps are full. And alot of the muni snow dumps are down right huge.

There is one that i saw that is at least 50 feet high if not higher.
Ill see if i can snap some photos of some of them. My car is in the shop for now though, One of my anti freeze connections failed this morning, hoping its not catastrophic as in engine melt down.

But in any case this winter has been amazing in regards to snow fall, Lots of business for alot of the body shops around here
:D

Close to thirty feet tall. Albeit at a slope. There is another dump that is close to three time the size of this one. And there are a lot of snow dumps around here.

That is a lot of snow, but the numbers seem low for Alaska. If you have seen this, you know what I mean.

i forget what alyeska has gotten but i think 2 or 3 times what we got here. Ill take a look see and post.

Valdez regularly gets a minimum 200 i think, never watched it. But this year they got dumped with tons more. The most they have ever gotten is over 400 inches in one winter.

I never said, but congrats (I think) on setting a new record. :thmbsp: We finally got a day of Spring here today, with a reported high of 68F, but I never measured, LOL. I got out & about as soon as I saw the forecast this morning. :D Back down in the 50s again tomorrow, with rain, for about a week, so today was too rare to miss. ;)

thanks , i think..:D Been a heat wave lately, highs in the lower and mid 40s...Thats basically bikini weather around here...OK, OK, not bikini weather, but miniskirt weather...:D

Heck i had to cut my hair which is a once a year thing for me...But im glad the roads arent as wet as they have been. First three weeks of melt off has been bad. But thankfully night time temps have been cold. reducing flooding in the streets. which in any case will get bad, IMO, considering the amount of snow all around the anchorage bowl.

More pics will be forth coming. As you southerners have been deprived of the frozen gold..
