Onkyo A5 with very weak right channel power sectiion

Forum noob here, I have an Onkyo A5 and my problem is the right channel power section is super weak but not dead completely. I've switched sources, inputs, swapped L to R all possible connections, repeatedly manipulated all controls/switches/cables, and I have run the known good left preamp channel-out into the right main-in. Nothing effects/changes the output in any way. Balance to full right produces output 1/10th that of full left. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Welcome to AK! I haven't looked at an A-5 recently, but someone ought to take a shot at this, so I'll step up.

I would think the likeliest suspects are the input coupling capacitors on the power amps (which I think are designated C601 and C602; 22uF 50V parts, according to the hifiengine.com service manual), or the speaker switch.

Can you try listening with headphones? If headphone listening is still unbalanced, that would pretty much rule out the speaker switch as a suspect.
