Hello- I picked up a Onkyo TX-330 receiver. When I tested it, the right channel sounded pretty decent, but the left channel only had a loud hum and then blew a fuse. I was thinking it was a transistor and pulled q301-304 on the left channel and they all tested out fine. Could someone point me in the right direction of where I should start looking? I am attaching the schematic. Thank you very much!

i am going to GUESS that you have a bad stk module. what fuse did you blow, the main fuse or a speaker fuse?
if you did blow a speaker fuse then check for dc voltage on the amp side, if you have rail voltage(+-24ish volts) the stk is done.
no advice other than it is most likely that any stk you buy will be a fake.
I blew the left channel speaker fuse which would correspond to the left stk module. Seems like this is a common problem with Onkyo receivers. I only have $30 in it. Not sure if it’s worth fixing.
i would not personally fix it myself...
saying that is a common problem with onkyo receivers is not accurate. maybe it is with lower end onkyos that use stk but definitely not common in general.

Check over on the DIY audio site. There is info on that chip, looks like a pretty simple support circuit. Should be easy enough to mod in a LM1875 or some other current production IC.
