I picked up an Onkyo stack a while ago, and was just checking values on feebay. Was blown away at how much was paid for these things. Are they really worth this?

M-5140 Power Amp $110
P-3160 Preamp $218
M-5140+P-3160 $245
T-4120 Tuner $15, $40

The tuner seemed reasonable, but the pre- and power amps? Unbelievable!

i use the p 3160 in my setup, and love it. does what it's supposed to, how its supposed to, and the remote is handy, too. i had an m 5160 amp for a while and really enjoyed it until i needed to feed my Infinity speakers more power. this line doesn't get the credit for quality it deserves. not top of the line, but a long ways from being bpc
