Last week I had a problem with my bi-amped main system( Speakerlab k's). I was using a Magnavox 175 tube amp for the mids & highs and an Audiosource Amp 3 for the bass. We had had a number of thunderstorms come through and nothing was working . I checked the 3 amp fuse in the 175 amp and it looked OK. Checked a few other things and wound up replacing the Maggie amp with a restored Dynaco st70 . Got the system running again. It turned out the 3 amp fuse in the Maggie amp was blown but it sure looked OK visually !! JOHN

Probably the best outcome and you learned to meter fuses before tearing gear apart or hauling it to the shop. I've missed fuses that look good being bad, too.
