OPA2228P vs. OPA2228PA Differences significant?

Blue Shadow

Waiting for Vintage Gear from this century
I swapped the opamp in a Sony CDP-C705 to the OPA2228P and like the results, even though the bass is a bit more than it should be. It is good bass and this machine is for around the house music, not critical listening.

Looking at the information on these two opamps the difference that Digikey points out is the offset voltage, 10µV in one and 5µV in the other. Does this difference or any of the other differences between these two make one not compatible with replacing the RD5532D chip in the Sony? Would either one work in the Onkyo DX-1800, replacing an NJM5532D-D?

Just trying to learn more.

Here is the TI spec sheet: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa2228.pdf

Mouser offers two others, the OPA2228PAG4 and the OPA2228PG4 and these don't even show up on the spec sheet. Someone knows a secret code.

The 'P' version compared to the 'PA' seems quite a bit better on the spec' sheet for input offset voltage range and temperature stability, the 'P' twice as good as the 'PA' in this respect - everything else seems to be the same. I can't think that for domestic audio use, this would present any problems.

I can't answer your other questions, sorry.
