Opinion on Fried A3's

Found these very nice looking Fried speakers on local CL. I read quite a bit about them on some old posts. Anyone know anything about these? No affiliation. How about the price?

These have a very accurate and natural sound. Instruments have the correct timbre and the bass is really smooth and full. Very nice for classical, acoustic and some jazz. However, they don’t sound “lively” and they are a bit weak on anything resembling loud rock. I really like them but they are definitely not appropriate for everyone. Either way, $250 is too much. I sold a pair about a year ago (also with new surrounds) and had a very hard time getting $125 for them.
