Opinion on Values?

My brother wanted me to check on values on his old gear. He had the stuff that I wished I could afford at the time.

Yamaha CR-1020 Receiver (pots are a little scratchy, but otherwise excellent)
Pioneer CT-F1000 Cassette (One with wood case, not rackmount. I LOVED this cassette deck back in the day)
JBL L166 Speakers
Yamaha Turntable (from pics I think it is YP-D6 with Stanton 881S)

Any opinions are appreciated.

Nice gear, indeed! The CR-1020 is a great unit! I think they bring about $300 to $400 on my local CL, and more on eBay. The L166 speakers... I sold a pair to a fellow AKer a year or two ago. If I recall, he paid $600, and got a fair deal on them. They run higher on eBay for mint speakers. I don't follow cassette deck prices, so I can't help there.

I listed my JBL L166 for $700 but no bite.
They were in excellent condition with a new tweeter.
Finally sold for $550.

I think anything above $600 is more of an upper east coast value, though California seems to really appreciate their JBL gear, too.

I would buy the L166's from him to use instead of my 4301B's, if they would fit in my cabinet, but my townhouse is space limited, and I've got a cool cabinet with a center door for components, and doors on either either end that my 8" JBLs fit into. My brother is older, and I worshipped this system when I was in HS.
