Opinions Please (Infinity)

I have the chance to pick up a pair of Infinity RS-6001 speakers in great condition. They are a 3-way speaker with EMIT tweeters and dual 8's, sealed box. She is asking $200. I know these are the newer version of my RS-6000's, which I love. Anyone have any input or experience? Thank you!

Hi Ib! I never heard Infinity's

orion says this,

INFINITY SPK, RS 6001
Description: (2)8" CURVILINEAR IMG WOOFERS, 2" MIDRANGE, EMIT TWEETER
Manufacture Years: 1989 - Current
Additional Information:
Retail
MSRP: $550.00
USED: $110.00

if you can talk her down some...I say go for it! :thmbsp:

[bolly]

unless you want these?

[Inspiribomb]

I DO want those, but I'm not about to spend the money for shipping. Ideally I'd find a nice pair of Kappa 8's or 9's. I think I will pass on these Infinity speaks and hold out for the big catch. Thanks Bolly!

Inspiribomb,

If you do want those RS IIIs, take a look here at the second post down as of this posting. There's a guy giving away a pair in Wisconsin.

Now to play the waiting game, the anticipation is killing me!!!

[Inspiribomb]

Do you know the difference between the RS3, the RS3A and the RS3B???

[bolly]

I don't Ib, I could check orion on all 3 models if you'd like...won't matter much if ya get 'em and they're free!

[Inspiribomb]

Actually nevermind, I just got an email back saying they have been taken, so it really doesn't matter :sigh:
