Oppo PM-1 headphones - anybody tried them?

Just wondering if anybody has tried a pair of these ($$$$) and know how they compare to the PM-2 ($$$) and/or PM-3 ($$) ?

The reason I ask is because I listened to my friend's pair of PM-3's yesterday, they are very nice indeed. However my friend is considering a pair of PM-1's but is undecided about whether he can justify the extra cost. Any short audition in a store would probably not be enough to know for sure, please bear in mind that although the US based price is just over $1000, the UK based price is just over £1000 !!! ($1430 at todays exchange rate).

My one reservation about my short listen to the PM-3's - the presentation is very smooth, refined and 'soft' and I wonder if they will go louder and sound more dynamic?

I am only able to add I listened to the PM-2s through my Mojo Dac for 1/2 hour. I thought these were very dynamic, rich and balanced. I liked their fit too.

The local AV shop showed me the comparison of the 1s to 2s - seemed like identical specs....they lambskin pads were on 1s vs the 2s....so you have that. I want to try the 3s before I buy but I am impressed with 2s so try to find a pair to audition.

How was the tonal balance on the PM-3? You may know from the sansui forum that I go for 'warm' sound. Maybe I should just go down to the showroom in the bay area....

Probably best to have a listen, take your favourite music with you, something you know well - that should do the trick.
