I'm a little late in posting, but this post will be nothing new to any of you who know alan (aka opt80). I purchased a Philips CDP from him. It arrived in better than described shaped, packaged like it was delicate crystal, with a couple of very good cds packed in to boot. And a few days later, he even sent the owner's manual (which was never promised or asked for) and a couple more cds.

Alan and I swap envelopes across the border all the time. He's a great guy to do bizness with. He also crosses the line of being a good friend too. Watch out for that sense of humor though. Tis sharp.

Boy, I'll second that! Alan is the best and a damn good friend to boot! I consider myself fortunate to have Alan as a close friend and AK is dang lucky to have him as a member/moderator :thmbsp:
