I think the seller is confused. Fisher and Fisher-Price are two different companies. Sadly, Fisher Electronics are no longer what they were, and "Studio Standard" no longer means anything of significance. Sad, they made good kit once.

My friend Fred has a Fisher "Studio Standard" System he bought brand new in 1982, and I must say his is unique in the regard that the Speakers are VERY well built with titanium bullet tweeters, and a hefty 15" woofer with white kevlar cone eerily similar to the LE series JBL's white polyplas. The entire rack has a reverb amp, pre-amp, power amp, cassette deck and tuner, with TT on top. They are black, but they are FAR from BPC. That system listed IS definitely the scaled down late 80's early 90's pure junkola for sure.

Wig, it's not the seller who's confused, it's the OP of this thread. Seller doesn't say Fisher-Price anywhere in his posting. I would agree with the assessment of it being junk, but not the Fisher set-up my friend Fred has, no flipping way.
