Original Paradigm Atoms

I have a pair of pretty beat up Paradigm Atoms that appear to be originals. I have scoured the forums and google for information on them but there are so many versions of the atoms it's hard to pinpoint these. I got them for a good price and I wanted to ask if there is anything special about them or if they are worth doing some work on. The grilles are non-removable. They still function well and sound good. Any information is appreciated, thanks.

Backs come off very easy to access the drivers. Pull the woofer to check for foam needs. Worth throwing a set of foams in em if they need it.

Nice Vifa tweeter and cast basket drivers. Every set I've opened up needed woofer foams. Better than average bookshelf speaker that crosses over at 3,000 HZ.

l picked up a pair of these cheaply[paradigm are rare in the UK]from a US serviceman before he returned home and i was amazed-they married very well to a little modded T-amp producing a richness and bass surprising for their size,so they are keepers.

I have the Atom V.3's and they are hard to beat for being so small!

I was trying to find a good speaker for movies to pair with my Denon receiver. Believe it not the Atoms did a better job at this than my Advent 4002's.

I don't think they have financial value, but they probably will sound great. I have a pair of Paradigm Mini Monitor V4's, love everything about them.

No dollar value but working right fiddy clams is bout right. Further value discussion will probably get this moved to dollars and sense.

Mine needed foams, but I also recapped with Daytons. Very nice sounding little speaker, I wound up selling mine to a buddy of mine that still has them.

I have a set of these 1st gen Atoms. Pretty much all of them will require a refoam on the woofers. Kits can be had off the bay for cheap. Really nice speaker. Mine are white.
