Original SL-1200 Tonearm LIFT need/question

I've had an Original version SL-1200 for about 5 years now. The tonearm lift is missing which means I have to manually lift the tonearm to start it and lift at the end of the record. I really like this turntable, but having to lift the tonearm all the time is really getting on my nerves. I've been hunting for a lift but absolutely no one has one for sale as they all are only selling parts for the MK II to MK V. The lift for the Original SL-1200 is different than any other Technics.

Does any one know of any sellers that would have a SL-1200 (original or Servo version) lift arm, or does anyone know of someone with a spare lift with the screw on it. Just the tonearm lift, please, PM me.

The cue lift you need unfortunately is SL-1100 and SL-1200 first version only. Parts donor only. Might be worth asking HiFiDo in Japan if they can find you parts.
 
Thanks Kent. I'll check them out. BTW the 1100 came with the EPA-110 tonearm and the 1200 came with the EPA-120. Different lifts. I'm contacting HIFIDO and will see if anything comes thru.

I'm a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to new tech. What the heck is 3d printing?

Actually there are 3 complete arms on E-Prey. I don't have that kind of $$ for just a tonearm lift, no matter who made it.

If the rest of the table is in nice shape, it is certainly worth investing ~$100 give or take to make it totally "right"--especially if you intend to keep it for the long haul. I have gladly "overpaid" for parts or entire units if it was something that I truly wanted, or wanted to restore to "perfect" condition, just due to limited availability. Since you have already dealt with the issue for 5 years, a few more months probably won't make much difference, so just keep your eyes peeled for parts. or maybe even an entire trashed (for parts or repair) unit--you can take what you need and part out the rest to get some or all of your money back--just a thought.
 
Hey, Mr. has been very generous helping all of us with our Sansui 1000A questions and rebuilds. What part is it that you need. I have a bunch of tonearm parts from an original 1200 sitting in a box. I believe the lift mechanism parts are all there. If you PM me your address I would stick them in the mail to you.
