Another fine transaction with Grumpy! If you buy an opened record from him, expect that record to grade higher than he told you. He's tougher on grading than I am.

No shipping of these, as I picked them up, but I have seen him pack, and he spares no effort.

Dave is selling tubes? WTF? How do I get in that line?

Dave just sent me some records that the postman tried so hard to F up, but Dave beat him. The package had a hole dug into the center from hitting the corner of something hard. I opened it expecting bad things, but it only penetrated two of the 4 sheets of cardboard Dave had added. The records were just fine. :yes: and better than described.:yes:

I won a couple of records in AK auctions, in the recent past. I got them today.

As usual, Grumpy is hard on grading. Worse than me. So I got great records from Dave's extensive blues collection. Lots of treasures in there.

Since I carried them from his house to my car, at today's SMAC meet, the records arrived in my home without having suffered at the hands of USPS/UPS/FedEx.

Shame on me. It's been two years since I left feedback for Dave. For all the records I have purchased, or won in auction, from him, he deserves better treatment.

As always, records are undergraded, and packed to stay that way. Even sealed ones get the 'full disclosure' treatment, even down to bumped corners, or small tears, if any, in the wrap.

My latest batch got shipped up from Texas, and Dave made sure they would arrive intact.
