To be clear I love the amplifier and it has lived up to all of the great reviews. Unfortunately I am running into a little issue. To date Outlaw has been very responsive, but I have uncovered a significant discrepancy between the owners manual and the actual operation. On page 24 of the manual it clearly states:
"The FM tuner supports RDS (Radio Data System), which allows the RR 2160 to display song titles and other information. Similarly, the HD Radio tuner supports Program Service Data, which will scroll station or song information across the second line of the front panel."
It performs as specified for PSD for HD Stations, but it does NOT decode RDS as stated for analog FM stations.
I would love to hear from any RR2160 owners if they receive RDS.
