I finished recapping and modding a Fisher 460A amplifier for stand alone use. Before I fired it up I discovered one of the output transformers had an open leg. The output tubes are 6BQ5s and the transformer part # is T812-217. How do I go about finding a suitable replacement? Is there some way of testing my good transformer so I know what to order? There is a set on ebay, the add says NOS early 60s, quad 6BQ5/EL84 output transformers pair. How do I know if they will work? Any helpful advice is appreciated.
