Oye! Time for another 9090DB resuscitation!

Recapped tuner PCB - replaced all electrolytics.

...
Power meter has yellow LEDs.

...

Good idea on the power meter lamps. I found a source for incandescent lamps locally and have replaced them in the past. But they are not very easy to get at as you well know. An LED would certainly last longer...

Thanks,

Finito

All finished.
I did a quick swipe on the veneer with some Howards refinisher. There are a few chips and scratches in the wood but I can live with that - gives it that vintage patina and shows some history.

I set it up in the bedroom test system along with my Polk Monitor 10 speakers, Kyocera 310 CDP (upgrade with Burr-Brown op amps), dbx 3bx and Pioneer PL-707 TT with NOS Shure M91ED cartridge.

Only minor issue I've noticed is that when I get a FM signal locked in stereo the tuning meter is slightly off center. I'll have to tweak that in time. Otherwise everything appears to work fine including the (useless) dolby functions.

Now it's time to live with it for a while and see how I like it and if it passes the WAF test.

Thanks to everyone for sharing this latest journey and I hope this post can be of use for future restorations.
