P2200 on Auction Site Q

I've got a P2200 and have an irrational love for the hammered beastie.
One on eBay is being sold "as is" because "Yamaha P2200 amplifier.it has a major short in the amp boards all output transistors are okay . I had in the shop for repairs but they could not find replacement parts so I am SELLING AS IS NO RETURNS!"

I can't think of anything on the amp boards that is unobtanium, am I wrong?

Not buying it*, just curious.

*M2, P2200, PC2002M and Nikko Alpha 1 in the house, I don't need more watts....

It might take a little effort to find a substitute device for some of the NLA semiconductors, but with the exception of the meter driver, it looks simple and rugged.

And both channels... A decent shop can troubleshoot a bridge rectifier failure, right?

Most anyone can troubleshoot a rectifier bridge with a good multimeter and a few you YouTube videos.
