Pack and ship from San Antonio TX to Charlotte NC?

I need a VERY special turntable to complete a VERY special stereo system. Only problem is, it's local pickup in San-Antonio...

Is there anyone who would be willing to pick it up and send it to me in Charlotte NC?

Might be able to help. I just left there yesterday. Damn wished I would have checked in here then. I have friends that may be able to help. They don't have a clue as to how to pack but I think I can help them through it. I helped him buy a turntable from Jeanmarie and have it shipped to San Antonio.

Welp, thanks anyway, but I got some more pictures of the turntable, and it's missing a hinge... So it all off.

It's also in pretty bad condition. Ol well. I'll just keep an eye out.

Thanks a lot for replying, and offering to help though.:)

Just curious, what turntable?

It's a Kenwood P-7G. Here's a picture of a nice one:

A fully automatic mini TT with track selection. It's designed to work with the '84 Kenwood EO 7 Midi system, in which I have all of the parts, including the graphic equalizer. Just need this table to complete the system.

Very nice!

Thanks! Found this at a local Goodwill.

I did some digging this morning, and FINALLY found out the name of this system. It's a Kenwood ROXY IV. (It was in the service manual).

The technical name is Kenwood M-7G (M for MiDi). the EO stands for "Easy Operation", which explains the synchronous operation between components.

So, If I can get that TT, this ROXY IV will be complete!

I take a trip to Phoenix, Tucson once or twice a year and frequently to Chicago suburbs.
Each time I check local CL for some items, I'll keep an eye out for that.
It would be cool to complete that set!

Thanks! I appreciate it! I've already been fairly lucky with this system, the cassette tape deck was also purchased separately through eBay.

But the amp, tuner, speakers, and graphic EQ were all sold as a set at the local Goodwill. I guess the original tape deck and turntable were lost or thrown out...

More likely belts wore out and units got but in the trash bin.... Man you have some kinda determination there...

Yeah, you are right about that. Time isn't very kind to these micro systems. Although it may not look like it, these components have some impressive specs for the size. Cassette deck is sitting at 0.05% wow/flutter and TT is direct drive with around 0.03% wow/flutter.

Yeah, I do. I've really fallen in love with this little system. It doesn't have anything on my main system, but hey, it's a good piece of audio history.

BTW, I have a lead on one of these turntables. If I'm lucky, it should work out.
