I am a bit confused about the specs that mention level controls and fuses. Not on the back and seems strange they wouldn't them on the front baffle, not their style.

Man, I'd snag 'em for that and replace the ADS L300's that I'm using in the garage currently.

What a steal! I've got the slightly larger L880's and they are awesome speakers, this is a no brainer if there ever was one.
