Pair of ADS L400e - $90 + shipping (eBay, continental US only)

Shipping should be under $45.00 to most of the country. Great deal for someone looking for a great pair of minis and doesn't have a good local vintage market. Seem to be in good shape.

I originally thought these had the wrong tweeters, but it appears the L400 used the normal ADS tweeters with the wires on the front, and the L400e used the tweeter shown here. Anyone know if there's a difference, sound wise?

To me, yes. I have a pair of L7e’s that use this tweeter and they sound dull to me in comparison to the older L400. I also don’t care for the black cabinets.

Yeah, I believe that is the later polymer dome design (book says 206-0122) vs. the fabric dome design from the earlier models. It is a bit more laid back, but very smooth. They're fine in their own way but I'm not surprised you'd A/B them with that result.
