Who in their right mind would send an unknown/unconfirmed seller $4K and have them supposedly "shipped"? For that kind of scratch, you had better go get them yourself of find someone you can trust to do so. Three different cities and sellers in a 100 mile radius, listing rare Soveriegns is not happening.

the listings on Cleveland and Detroit could be legitimately the same. i checked and Springfield is "south of Toledo," albeit pretty far south. if there's something else in the body of the listings that's contradictory, then that's a different story.

All of the ads clearly state the location of the item. The market for $4000 speakers in Toledo in this day and age has got to be pretty small, I don't blame the seller for expanding his listing to reasonably close cities. If these were my dream speakers (they're not) I'd drive that far to get them. It's on the way to my parents house..

Have you ever heard big old JBLs JohnVF? My Apollos which are like a 1/3rd of a Soverign are the best speakers I've ever heard, and I've heard quite a few speakers in my life. Of course I don't have 4 grand so the point in moot. No affiliation with the seller except jealousy of these *if* they actually exist.

I have, though not these. They were similar sized studio monitors, and sounded very good but at $4000 there are a lot of speakers that sound amazing. I'd probably enjoy something like the Altec Model 17 more. I wasn't knocking these, I just think $4000 for them, on Craigslist, is a bit much in this economy.

A pair sold recently on eBay for $3000, so he's a bit high but who can say he won't get it? FWIW, a set of 375s sold for $1700 alone, so why $4000 is ambitious, it isn't insane.
