Panasonic "Q'Sonic" SA-870

Otherwise known as the SA-8700 (front panel). I am off to pick up a 1972 / 1973 Panasonic Receiver. I have found (literally) nothing online about this system except a few brief notes.

It does not have a "true" Quadraphonic decoder... It pre-dates that by a year. The Q'Sonic coder is actually an emulator...

Any hints or data would be appreciated. The current user says it is in fine working condition and the cosmetics make it easily sellable at its price of 100 bucks with speakers. (He has no idea what it is).

The whole receiver has a power draw of 65 watts. For 4 channels, that's going to be about 10 watts per channel or less.

It was a part of a system called the SC-8700 which included a turntable and speakers.
