I learned of the Paprika Recipe Management App on iOS Today on TWiT TV. It is a dedicated web recipe browser. It stores recipes in the cloud, on your device, you can sync across devices, import and export your recipes to, and from your friends. It lists a large number of supported sites. At a supported site if you see a recipe that you want to try simple click save recipe tab on the bottom right and it is transfered to your Paprika account complete with any pictures of the dish. If the site is not supported you can manually enter it in to you recipe data base where you can add photo's of the completed dish and notes concerning it. You have a recipe file area, a browser, a place to make Groceries list, and a meal planner. In the browser simple put the dish or a main ingredient
This app is available for a wide number of devices, iOS, Android, iPad, Windows, Mac, Kindle Fire, Nook. At $4.99 it is expensive for an iOS app but it is well worth the price.
There was a posting on Facebook about the gigantic African Land Snail. They are illegal to sell in the US as they are a real pest. In South Florida they have been known to eat the stucco off of walls. I was researching them and found they are a prime munchable in Africa. I happened to have a site open with recipes for them. After I loaded the Paprika app as soon as it loaded it wanted to know is I wanted to save the recipe for African Giant Land Snails.
