Once again I have a quandry that I am looking to you to forward some sage advice.:yes:
I have just acquired a pair of Ohm Walsh-2's which I am absolutely loving. They are replacing the JBL E50's and Onkyo SKF-200F which are now packed, nicely away in the closet.
I had the opportunity today to pick up a pair of Paradigm 3se's for $50.00 so I did of course.
I look at it like Defensive Linemen in Pro Football, you can never have enough. If one goes down, it's nice to have a quality replacement. I "acquired them on reputation alone and on the positive threads I have read in AK.:thmbsp:
I read all the time about how you folk like to rotate your equipment, especially speakers, so if I were to "bench" the Walsh-2's for a short time(Maintenence, repair, rest, whatever), would pairing up the Paradigm 3se's and the JBL E50's be a wise choice.
The E50's are 8 Ohms and I believe the Paradigms are 6 Ohms.
Any thoughts or ideas? Also, do you think $50 for the 3se's was a good deal?:scratch2:
