I was wondering if mid / bass speaker could be fixed an how to go about it. Whats going on is speaker doesnt work unless I touch the cone on one side or the other. When I hold hand on cone it works fine

You may have a damaged voice coil. Try rotating the position of the woofer 180 degrees and see if that helps. If not, you will probably have to replace the woofer.
 
Sounds like a broken or very poor connection somewhere. Could be at connection terminal, tinsel lead, or VC wire.
