Paradigm dipole speakers

Wondering if anyone has them, what they think of them. Does paradigm still make dipole speakers, if not why not?
Why does anyone make dipole speakers??

I picked up a set recently and can find little info on them. Apparently paradigm used the same model name (esprit) on more than just their dipole esprit. Mine have 6.5" woofer and a 1" tweeter facing forward and the same facing rear.

Dipole speakers are used for surround speakers in an HT setup. Paradigm still makes a dipole speaker, these are the monitor series.

I sure don't know much about Paradigm speakers, but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't dipoles at all. It may be that they allow switching back and forth, but otherwise I'd guess that they're actually Bipoles instead. Big difference, although many get it mixed up occasionally.

Yes, they are bipole.
