Hello! Hoping to get some input from folks who have had experience with these two speakers: Paradigm Eclipse Monitor (from late 80's) and the Reference Studio 100v1.
I currently own a 7SEmk3 and am hoping to upgrade. I listen to a lot of classical, jazz and instrumental (cello, guitar and drums). I like a full sound and not overly emphasized on treble or bass, so I guess that's why I like my Paradigm speakers the best out off my other speakers (PSB, Technics, Energy, Realistic).
The Eclipse is about $300 CAD and the Studio 100v1 is about $750. Both are about 2 hrs away from home in opposite directions. From what I've read here people who own these speakers have lots of good things to say about them, but is the Studio 100v1 worth the additional $350 from the Eclipse? Any insights or input are appreciated! Many thanks in advance.
