So I have a chance to buy a pair of paradigm titan V6's, Paradigm mini monitor V5s and a paradigm cc290 v5 locally for $400
I've recently become pretty interested in paradigm speakers. Somebody gave me a pair of micro v2's, atom v2and cc70
I was very impressed with the micros, and last night. The new foam was finally ready for a test on the atoms... i was very impressed
My wife listened to them and she said it sounded like we were sitting in the jazz lounge, with the band about ten feet away(Take Five - Dave Burbeck Quartet)
what was really telling for me was the sound of the cymbals
she also made note of the saxophone I don't know a whole lot about saxophones, but she played 14 quite a few years, and she was telling me all about it. She was swaying back and forth to the music. And quite frankly, my hair was standing up a little bit
by contrast my jbl e90 it sounded harsh and undefined... my wife described it as sounding like you were sitting outside. In the park listening to music playing loudly...
this brings me to my question.
These newer paradigms Titan v6's (and other speakers) that i'm looking at for $400. For starters, is it a good price? Furthermore, are they going to have a similar sound and feel to these paradigm Atom v2's?
