Hey all,
About 8 years ago I made an accidental entry into Hi-fi sound when I picked up a used set of Paradigm 9SE MK3 for $100 off Craigslist. Those speakers were eventually stolen, but they set the bar for me personally for high quality audio.
Now I'm looking to replace those speakers and am looking for reccomendations: in my local area there is an original set of Monitor 7 for sale (asking $200) and someone else is selling a set of Studio 60 V3 (asking $400). My first impulse is to keep trying to get my hands on a set of the 9SE MK3, but there are none in my area. Plus, I've never heard the Monitor 7 or Studio 60's (and don't really want to risk an in-person audition with COVID ravaging the US).
So what are your thoughts on these 3 sets of speakers (AKA where do they rank in relation to each other quality wise?) Are either of those asking prices good enough where I'd be crazy to pass them by?
FWIW here's my Last.FM to see what I listen to the most: https://www.last.fm/user/Blown-Upp
