Anyone here running a set of parallax 2947 speakers. I would say these speakers are rare since they were made for 1-2 years. They were decent in 1978 when I inherited them from a friend with a totl sanyo receiver tt/ tuner combo. They are low wattage only 30 watts but I fill guilty about getting rid of these since i have no use for tehm. Anyone collect parallax speakers or could provide an estimated value.

My brother had a pair of Parallax speakers back then. He powered them with a 25 watt Phillips receiver. Honestly, we make fun of them to this day. He wishes he still had the Phillips... They were sold through a local discount store in NE Ohio called "Fisher's Big Wheel". They were big gawdy 12 / 3-ways with paper drivers. Boomy. Anything from Pioneer, etc. in the era was much nicer. IMO.
